Meena Ganesh, CEO and MD, Pearson Education Services
Prior to this, Meena was the CEO of Tesco's operations in India, the Tesco Hindustan Service Center. Tesco is the world's third largest retailer with a revenue base of nearly $100bn and 400,000 people. She was also on the Global Retail Council of Tesco, an elite group of about 50 people who run the operations of Tesco worldwide. She also has the privilege of being the only Indian, and one amongst four women on this Council. Before coming on board Tesco, Meena co-founded one of India's pioneering BPO companies: Customer Asset, which she sold to ICICI OneSource. She was the Chief Operations Officer of Customer Asset and helped build the organisation to nearly 4,000 people, servicing large corporate customers in UK and US markets. During her five-year association with Microsoft India, she set up multiple business units for them, including Microsoft Consulting, Internet and Application Development/Business services units. She was with PricewaterhouseCoopers and with NIIT during the initial 11 years of her career. This PGDM holder from IIM Calcutta has a graduate degree in Physics from the Madras University. Srikanth started his career with Wipro in 1993 in the SPD team where he picked up the basic grounding but left soon enough to chase his entrepreneurial instincts. Srikanth holds a Post Graduate Diploma is Software Engineering from Harvard University (DCE) and an undergraduate degree in Computer Science Engineering from Bangalore University, India. Srikanth was featured on CNBC: Young Turks Innovators is an important weekly programme telecast by CNBC-TV18. On 27th November 2008 this programme featured Mr. Srikanth Iyer and Edurite. Prior to the merger with the Pearson Education Services, Jayadev was a core member of his family business focusing on bringing in best practices and creating new opportunities and collaborations. Jayadev was formerly the co-founder and CEO of Tinfo Mobile, a leading mobile developer that has developed a number of mobile gaming applications which has received several industry awards including the Reliance-NASSCOM award, the Abby Gold award, the E3 USA Best Game award and several other accolades. Jayadev was among the few entrepreneurs from Kerala featured in the Young Turks programme of CNBC India.
